What is Tile Pantry

Each level shuffles a set of 8 icons — a gamepad, a target, a paintbrush, a music note, a star, a flame, a gem, and a four-leaf clover — into 16 face-down tiles. The icons are large and easy to read. The level is won when all 8 pairs are matched.

The flip rule in plain English

  • Tap any face-down tile to flip it over. The icon is shown.
  • Tap a second face-down tile to flip it.
  • If the two icons match, both tiles stay face-up and the pair is locked.
  • If they do not match, the tiles flip back after a short pause so you can study the placement.
  • Every pair of flips counts as one move, whether it matches or not.

Moves, difficulty, and the speed bonus

Each level gives you a fixed number of moves. The Difficulty selector in the toolbar changes that budget. When you complete a level, every move you have left is converted into a speed bonus. Finishing with 10 or more moves left gives the largest bonus and is the way to a high score.

A 3-step walkthrough for your first level

  1. Open TapLoop Arcade and pick Tile Pantry from the side rail.
  2. Tap two corner tiles to start. If they match, you have an easy first pair. If not, you have just memorised two positions for later.
  3. Work in small regions of the board rather than chasing matches across the whole grid. Region scanning builds a mental map faster than random flips.

What the icons mean

The 8 icons are decorative; they do not carry game logic. They are large and high contrast on purpose, so the game is comfortable to read on small mobile screens and easy on the eyes for a long session.
