Using TapLoop Arcade

You can play TapLoop Arcade in any modern browser, on any device you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You do not need to create an account, you do not need to pay, and you do not need to provide any personal information. The games save your progress locally, and your progress stays on the device you played on.

What you can do

• Play the games for personal enjoyment, including during breaks at work or school.
• Embed a single game on your own website, in an iframe, with attribution to TapLoop Arcade.
• Share screenshots, videos, and write-ups of your gameplay on social media and on your own blog.
• Build tools, bots, and analysis tools that interact with the public game APIs for personal, non-commercial use.

What you cannot do

• Do not resell, sublicense, or repackage the games as your own product.
• Do not use the TapLoop Games brand, logo, or name in a way that suggests endorsement without our written permission.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the games for redistribution.
• Do not scrape the public APIs at a rate that interferes with normal operation of the service for other users.

Intellectual property

The games, the source code, the artwork, the game names, the brand, and the documentation are owned by the TapLoop Games project and its contributors. The game names Arrow Garden, Sort Dock, Merge Meadow, Tile Pantry, Circuit Path, and Reflex Rings are part of the TapLoop Arcade brand. You are welcome to use the names when referring to the games in conversation or in writing, in keeping with normal nominative fair use.

Availability and warranty

We try to keep TapLoop Arcade online, fast, and free of bugs, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The games are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. If a game breaks, the most you can ask is that we look into it as soon as we can, and we will. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the arcade.

Changes to the games and to these terms

We may update, change, or retire a game at any time. We may also update these terms to reflect new features, new advertising partners, or new legal requirements. The most recent update date is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the arcade after a change is your acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the TapLoop Games project is based. If a dispute arises that we cannot resolve by email, the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive authority to settle it. In practice, every dispute we have ever had has been settled by a quick exchange of polite emails.
