Privacy Policy
TapLoop Arcade is built around a local-first design. The games store progress on your device, the analytics are coarse, and the only third party with access to your data is the advertising network on pages where ads are shown. This page explains every data point we touch and why.

Summary in plain language
TapLoop Arcade does not require an account and does not collect your name, your email address, or your phone number. The games save your progress to your own browser using localStorage and IndexedDB, so your best scores, your level, and your settings stay on the device you played on. We measure traffic with a coarse, anonymous counter that records how many times a page was opened, never who opened it. On pages where we show advertising, Google and a small set of certified ad partners may set cookies for ad personalisation and frequency capping. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time from our cookie consent panel.
What we collect
| Data | Where it lives | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Best scores, current level, game settings | Your browser (localStorage + IndexedDB) | Save your progress between sessions |
| Mute preference, sound on/off | Your browser (localStorage) | Remember your audio choice on return visits |
| Coarse page-view count, per IP-aggregated bucket | Our server, anonymised | Measure which games are popular and find broken pages |
| Ad impression and click events, no user identifier | Google AdSense (third party) | Bill advertisers and prevent fraud on pages with ads |
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, your email address, or your phone number.
- We do not collect your contacts, your calendar, your photos, or your location.
- We do not fingerprint your device beyond the coarse User-Agent string a browser sends by default.
- We do not sell or share any data with data brokers, advertising networks beyond the ad slot itself, or social media platforms.
Cookies and similar storage
TapLoop Arcade uses two kinds of browser storage. The first is first-party storage: localStorage and IndexedDB, used to save your game progress and your preferences on your own device. We never read this storage from the server. The second is third-party storage set by Google AdSense when an ad is shown. AdSense cookies are used for frequency capping (so you do not see the same ad twice in a row) and for ad personalisation (so the ads you see are roughly relevant to the page you are on). You can read the full details on our cookie policy page, and you can opt out of personalised ads from the consent panel that appears on your first visit.
Your rights under GDPR and CCPA
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing activities. In practice, the only personal data we hold is the data that lives on your device, and you can wipe it at any time by clearing site data in your browser. If you would like us to confirm in writing that we hold nothing on our servers, write to the privacy inbox on our contact page and we will reply within five business days.
Children's privacy
TapLoop Arcade is rated suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Because the games do not ask for an email address, a name, or any contact information, there is no realistic way for a child to submit personal data to us in the first place. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through a bug or misconfiguration, please contact the privacy inbox and we will investigate and remove the data within five business days.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if we change the data we collect, the third parties we share it with, or the legal basis we rely on for processing. The most recent update is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced in a banner on the home page for at least 30 days after the change takes effect.
How to contact us about privacy
Email is the only channel for privacy requests. Send your request to the privacy inbox listed on our contact page and we will reply within five business days. There is no fee for a privacy request, and we do not require you to verify your identity beyond confirming the email address you are writing from.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about Privacy Policy.
Do I need to create an account to play?
No. TapLoop Arcade does not have accounts, sign-up screens, or login flows. Your progress is stored locally in your browser and follows the device, not a username.
Can I delete my game data?
Yes. Open your browser's site data settings, find taploopgames.com, and clear the stored data. Your best scores, current level, and preferences will be wiped. The next time you load a game, it will start from level 1.
Do you use Google Analytics?
No. We do not embed Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking script. The only third-party script in the games is the Google AdSense loader, which only runs on pages where ads are shown.
Where is the data stored?
All gameplay data is stored in your own browser using localStorage and IndexedDB. We do not run a gameplay database, so there is nothing to sync, export, or back up to a server.
