Boulder Blitz: aim, bounce, and chain the cracks
Boulder Blitz is a bounce shooter. A cannon sits at the bottom of a tall arena; a wall of blocks presses down from the top. Aim, launch, and the boulder bounces off the walls. Each hit cracks a block; broken blocks explode and damage their neighbours, so chains can cascade across the whole wall. The wall creeps down with every shot — clear it before it lands.

What is Boulder Blitz
Boulder Blitz is a single-boulder shooter. The wall starts at the top of the arena and creeps down a row every few shots. The boulder bounces off the side walls and the ceiling; every time it touches a block, that block loses a hit point. When a block breaks, it explodes — a damage wave hits every block within a radius, and any block that breaks from that wave explodes too. One well-aimed shot can chain a cascade through the whole wall.
Block types
| Block | Hit points | Effect on break |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | 1-3 (number on face) | Explodes, damaging neighbours |
| Bomb | 1 | +100 points and a big blast radius |
| Star | 1 | Fires a second boulder |
How a round works
- Press Launch to start. Aim by dragging across the arena.
- Release (or press Space / S) to fire the boulder.
- The boulder bounces and cracks blocks. Broken blocks chain-explode.
- After every few shots the wall creeps down a row.
- Clear the whole wall to advance. If any block crosses the danger line, the round ends.

| Action | Points |

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about Boulder Blitz.
When does the round end?
The round ends when the wall crosses the danger line — any block remaining below it after a drop. In timed mode it also ends when the 90-second clock runs out.
How do chain explosions work?
When a block breaks, a damage wave hits every block within roughly one and a half cells. Any block that breaks from that wave explodes too, so damage cascades. Bombs and stars trigger the same chain.
What do the symbols on blocks mean?
A number is the block's hit points. The bolt symbol is a bomb worth +100 on break. The star symbol fires a second boulder automatically.
Can I control the boulder mid-flight?
No — once launched, the boulder bounces on its own. Aim is everything, which is why the aim line and the bounce physics matter more than reflexes.
