Bolt Barn: unscrew in the right order
Bolt Barn is an unscrew puzzle where order matters. Planks of wood stack in a pit, held by screws. Tap a screw to turn it; a plank falls the moment nothing holds it. A screw is blocked while a plank sits on its head, so you clear the top planks first. Finish within the par move count for stars.

What is Bolt Barn
Bolt Barn is a physics unscrew puzzle. A pit holds horizontal wooden planks stacked in layers. Screws pass through several planks at once and keep them attached. Tap a screw head to turn it — when the last turn releases, every plank that screw was holding is free to fall with real gravity. The puzzle: a screw is blocked whenever a plank above it covers the head. Clear the top first, or you cannot reach the screws underneath.
How a level works
- A new level stacks planks and places screws where layers overlap.
- Tap a screw head to turn it. Greyed-out screws are covered by a plank above.
- When a screw's last turn is used, it is removed and any planks it held fall.
- Every tap counts as one move. The par is the minimum taps to finish.
- Clear every screw to solve the level; your move count decides your stars.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about Bolt Barn.
Why is a screw greyed out?
A screw is covered when a plank above it spans the same column without being attached. Clear the plank first and the screw becomes tappable.
What does the badge number on a screw mean?
It is the number of turns left before the screw releases. A screw showing 2 needs two taps. Plan multi-turn screws ahead — turning them costs moves that count toward your par.
How do I get three stars?
Finish the level in par moves or fewer. Two stars allow up to two moves over par, one star is any finish. The par equals the total turns needed on the level.
Does the game tell me when a plank will fall?
Not in advance — that is the puzzle. Watch which planks share screws: the moment the last holding screw is removed, every plank it attached falls, and anything stacked on them goes too.
